What McDonalds Needs to Do

This is a paid post for Cremeaid, if it is selected, it will be syndicated with other sites that were paid to post about their McDonalds experience. Only, this post is going to be a good helpful one, see I worked at McDonalds years ago and have lots of experience in what worked at what didn’t, or at least I think I do.
I guess I better start by plugging the local McDonalds, the one at the Huntington Mall, WV. This is the McDonalds I worked at for close to ten years, back when I was just partying and having fun, before I got serious, well as serious as I can get.
McDonalds has one thing and one thing only going for it, the kids meals, the only reason I ever go to McDonalds is because the kids want a happy meal, most of the time we can talk them out of it, but occasionally we give in and eat some micro waved McDonalds food. Now, I will admit, I am not 100% sure how they make the food nowadays, but it tastes the same as when I quit working there, and at that time, we would cook the buns, the meat, the fish and chicken and put them in storage cabinets, from there you put the sandwiches together and then microwave them a set amount of time. Bleh.
McDonalds used to have great food, and they can again, if they would go back to cooking everything fresh like other restaurants, I guarantee they would gets lots more business from parents like me. When I first started, we cooked everything at the same time and slapped it together at the same time, the onions were cooked on the meat and it was supposed to only sit in the heated bin for 10 or 15 minutes, even though it was usually good for a lot longer. There was no better burger than the Big Mac when it was really fresh and I challenge anyone to cook it the old fashioned way, with the sauce cold and the meat and bun hot, and the onions cooked on top, and compare it to the stuff they are serving today. No comparison, I wish I could still get one made that way.
I challenge McDonalds to try it out in a couple new restaurants or in a couple that are getting less and less business, if they don’t do better, then I will eat this blog post.
