Latest Iron Man 2 Trailer
I remember when they first announced Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow, fanboys everywhere were screaming no, she’ll suck. She looks like a good choice if you ask me, and in this trailer, check out the Iron Man suit that comes from his briefcase, just like the comics only it’s automatic. I can’t wait until this movie comes out.

News Story of the Day: Is Google Buying YouTube?
First saw this story on TechCrunch, Completely Unsubstantiated Google/YouTube Rumor in which he says he has confirmed that there is a rumor circulating, what does that mean exactly? I haven’t followed TechCrunch long enough to get a feel for his ability at calling whether its a rumor or not, but some of the comments in the thread think they have a good idea. They say he posted it for traffic. Well, of course he posted it for traffic, why have a blog if you are not trying to get traffic? If he does this a lot, then people will start going to other sites, etc, so I don’t really see him posting something unless he hears something, but what do I know.
The rumored price is 1.6 million dollars, which sounds high to me, especially considering Google has Google video already, but from what I hear, traffic isn’t even close in comparison, so, they could be looking to buy the next big thing, since most of their releases since the search engine haven’t really been barn stormers, can you say Google Talk, Froogle, etc, etc?
Now there are several stories on Yahoo news, from the Associated press, Reuters, Wall St Journal, etc, so something is definitely circulating. I can’t believe anyone would buy them for 1.6 billion.

Frank Miller to Direct Will Eisner’s Spirit
Can’t wait to see this film. Apparently Frank Miller, one of the greatest comic book story tellers of all time, has agreed to direct the film adaption of Will Eisner’s Spirit, another of the greatest story tellers of all time. How can this be wrong? Filming is scheduled to start next year.
When (Uslan) invited me to do this, first I said I can’t do this and then I said I can’t let anybody else touch it,” Miller told Variety. “I intend to be extremely faithful to the heart and soul of the material, but it won’t be nostalgic. It will be much scarier than people expect.”
“With his first film, Miller made Sin City live and breathe by capturing the look and style of his source material and expertly guiding an all-star cast,” stated Deborah Del Prete. “We cannot wait to see how he utilizes his endless talents in bringing Eisner’s vision of The Spirit to the screen.”
Uslan: “What makes Frank’s involvement with The Spirit particularly poignant was his special relationship with Will Eisner, captured last year in the book, Eisner-Miller. In it, you have two of the medium’s greatest storytellers of sequential art and cinematic comics discussing the ins-and-outs of the compelling and controversial art form.” Source: Newsarama
